The following MT-MECH modules have been revisioned:
The major improuvements concern the MT-COMP program where a complete new national code (AD-MERBLATT - Germany) has been included and local loads can now be verified using BS.5500 App.G, WRC107, WRC297.

MT-COMP Revision 8.0.2 (May 2001)
1.The AD-MERKBLATT (German code) has been added to the program.
2.Some bugs have been fixed in the conical section calculation program.
3.A warning message has been added to the conical sections program when the half-apex angle is greater than the maximum value allowed by the code.
4.The formula of APM in the datasheet of nozzle compensation in the circumferential plane (according to ISPESL-VSR) has been fixed.
5.The reinforcing pad material description has been blanked on the nozzle datasheet page when no reinforcing pad has been installed.
6.The formula of Lm in the datasheet of nozzle compensation for nozzle over formed heads (for ISPESL-VSR code) has been fixed.
7.The "Import data" control has been added to the wall data section of the nozzles program.The data of the wall needed for the calculation can be now filled up automatically downloading the values from the wall component file.
8.The minimum corroded thickness of the shell barrel in the cylindrical shell program has been replaced by the minimum installed thickness.
9.In the check of the cylindrical shell to external pressure, the stiffening ring is now taken into consideration.
10.Stiffening ring data different from the values stored in database can be now specified in the check calculation of the cylindrical shell to external pressure. The modified values refer to the current calculation only.
11.The reaction of the gaskets due to the partition ribs has been added to the calculation of the girth flanges. The calculation method is according to TEMA RGP-RCB-11.7
12.The bolts data table has been updated with:
- addition of the bolts as per DIN 2510
- addition of the bolt hole diameter for girth flanges and floating flanges
The calculation subroutines for girth flanges and floating flanges have been revised accordingly.
13.The possibility of specifying the minimum bolt size in the calculation of girth flanges and floating flanges has been added to the program.
14.The gaskets data table has been updated to insert the AD-MERKBLATT gaskets. The calculation subroutines for girth flanges and floating flanges have been revised accordingly.
15.The stiffening ring data table has been updated to insert the quota Xg (baricenter distance from the ring vertical mid line)
16.Self energizing gasket has been added to the gasket table. The girth flanges calculation subroutine has been updated to avoid calculation crash when using this type of gaskets.
17.The yield strength values vs temperature have been added to the material changes quantities.
18.The problems due to the resizing of the forms to comply with the screen resolution have been fixed. The program now behaves correctely for screen resolution of 800x600 and above.
19. For safety reasons the ESL key management has been updated. The program ESL in the group of service programs provides for several functions to manages the key.
20.A leading zero has been added to the decimal numbers less than 1 in the calculation results and in the audit report datasheets.
21.Code paragraphs have been added to all the audit report datasheets.
22.The value of lm in the nozzle compensation datasheet has been fixed.
23.The unit N/mm has been added to the spring rate quantity in the units system file.
24.The system S.I. has been modified selecting N/mm for the spring rate quantity.
25.For the following materials the yield strength values vs temperature have been revised:
- A 193 B7
- A 193 B16
- A 320 B8 Cl 1
- A 320 L7
The values of the yield strength have been taken from the table Y.3 of ASME II Part D addenda 1999.
26.The local loads analysis according to WRC 107 and WRC 297 has been added to the program.
27.The function "save" has been added to the Audit Report datasheet. This function allows the user to save the datasheets as zip files that can be in a second time unzipped and viewed with any drawing program allowing bit map drawings like Paint.
28.The calculation of the maximum working pressure for the hydraulic test condition with corroded thicknesses has been added to the program.
29.Some minor bugs have been fixed.


MT-VESS Revision 7.06 (May 2001)

12.The fluid density, shell side and tube side, has been added in the input data of the exchanger. The fluid density is then written in the first sheet of the exchanger drawing.
13.The design temperature for external pressure has been added in the input data of the exchanger. If not specified, this value is assumed equal to the design temperature for internal pressure. The design data frame in hte first drawing sheet has been revised accordingly.
14.The possibility of specifying the distance of the last baflle from the tangent line of the U bent has been added to the program.
15.The marks associated to the exchanger dimensions have been canceled from the calculation results report. These marks had no more meaning now that the program generates automatically the exchanger drawing.
16.A leading zero has been added to the decimal numbers less than 1 in the calculation results report.
17.The possibility of specifying the extreme baffles distances indipendently from the adjacent nozzles has been added to the program. The distances of the extreme baffles can now be specified from the adjacent tubesheet.


MT-LAYOUT Revision 7.05 (May 2001)
1.The problems due to the resizing of the forms to comply with the screen resolution have been fixed. The program now behaves correctely for screen resolution of 800x600 and above.
2.For safety reasons the ESL key management has been updated. The program ESL in the group of service programs provides for several functions to manages the key.
3.The unit N/mm has been added to the spring rate quantity in the units system file.
4.The system S.I. has been modified selecting N/mm for the spring rate quantity
5.Importing of neutral file with data coming from the thermal rating of the exchanger has been added to the program.
6.A bug in the Full tube alignement has been fixed.
