The following MT-MECH modules have been revisioned:
The major improuvements concern the MT-COMP/MT-EXCH programs where a complete revision of calculations has been done for ensuring compliance with the last issue of the Codes (ASME VIII Div. 1 Ed. 2001, TEMA 8.th Ed. 1999). The MT-VESS program is actually under revision also for including the German national code (AD-MERBLATT) and it is expected to be released in next two months.
For a complete list of the new releases contents see the tables herebelow each one specific for a program.

MT-COMP Revision 2.1.0 (January 2002)
1.The program has been updated to the latest ASME VIII Div.1 2001 Edition.
2.General revision of the tubesheets and expansion joint calculation according to the TEMA 8.th Edition 1999.
3.Calculation of the flange rigidity according to the section S-2 of ASME VIII Div.1 Appendix S.
4.The tables of bolts data for girth flanges calculation have been implemented until 4 inches bolts diameter.
5.Lap Joint flanges have been added to the program.
6.A control has been added to the calculation of flanges according to AD-MERKBLATT to check if the yield strength at the design temperature is equal to zero. In this case a warning message is sent to the user and the yield at room temperature is assumed.
7.The icon on the warning messages at the end of the calculation has been changed.
8.The nozzle program in check has been fixed to allow the reinforcing pad data visualization.
9.The calculation of the floating heads according to ASME and VSR has been revised to avoid convergence missing during the calculation.
10.Some warning messages related to the floating head have been revised to avoid misunderstanding.
11.A control has been added in the MAWP calculation of cones without knuckles and with half-apex angle greater than 30°.
12.The limit to the bolts size of 52 mm has been taken out from the floating head calculation.
13.The possibility of selecting the printer has been added in all the printouts.
14.14. The drivers for the ESL device have been updated.

MT-VESS Revision 1.1.0 (January 2002)
1.The icon on the warning messages at the end of the calculation has been changed.
2.The call to AUTOCAD 2000 has been added to the configuration mask.
3.The crown radius specified in input for elliptical and torispherical heads has been fixed.
4.The tables of bolts data for girth flanges calculation have been implemented until 4 inches bolts diameter.
5.The possibility of selecting the printer has been added in all the printouts provided in the vessel results.
6.The drivers for the ESL device have been updated.

MT-EXCH Revision 2.1.0 (January 2002)

8.A bug in the opening of the screen of the nozzles without specifying the TEMA type has been fixed.
9.The printout of the user name in the heading of the calculation results has been fixed.
10.The material of the nozzles T5/T6 appearing in the Bill of Materials for exchangers TEMA types S/T has been corrected.
