Sono stati aggiornati i seguenti moduli del package MT-MECH:
Le modifiche pių significative riguardano il modulo MT-VESS, per il quale č stato effettuato il controllo completo dei metodi di calcolo per la verifica di congruenza con l'ultima edizione dei Codici (ASME VIII Div. 1 Ed. 2001) e l'inserimento del del codice di calcolo tedesco (AD-MERKBLATT).

MT-COMP Revision 2.2.0 (May 2002)
1.7 new ASME materials and 11 DIN materials have been included in the material's data base.
2.The calculation of tolerances in ASME and VSR Heads has been fixed.
3.The subroutines for reading info from Windows register have been modified for allowing to non-administrators in Windows NT/2000 to read the register.
4.The minimum thickness specified in input for cones and formed heads has been changed from "corroded" to "istalled".
5.The minimum ring size for calculation to external pressure has been added in input. Now the user can select a range of values in the ring database when calculating to external pressure.
6.The option of selecting the combined moment of inertia has been added to the input data. Selecting a combined moment of inertia will take into account for the contribution of the vessel barrel to the moment of inertia.
7.Materials change cards have been fixed. Changes for the materials following the first were not enabled.
8.The schema of the nozzle on the flat heads has been modified to show correctly the flat head.
9.The calculation of the Lap Joint flanges with hub according to ASME and VSR has been fixed.
10.The bolts allowable stress for flat flanged cover according to AD-MERKBLATT has been fixed. (Yeld strength divided by 1.5 or 1.1 according to section B7).
11.The calculation of the minimum required thickness to external pressure has been added to formed heads calculated according to ASME.
12.The program ESL has been modified to allow the management of the Key on operating systems based on unicode (WINDOWS 2000 Chinese version)


MT-VESS Revision 2.1.0 (May 2002)
1.The German Code AD-MERKBLATT has been included in the program.
2.The Bill of Materials feature has been added to the program. The Bill of Materials can be viewed, printed or exported in an Excel file, directly or as CSV (Comma Separated Value) file.
3.The Audit Report Book has been added to the program. The datasheets with formulas for all vessels components are automatically generated and can be viewed and/or printed.
4.The ASCII Input/Output Printout has been totally rewritten to allow a better control on the vessel calculation. The Input reprint has been modified to closely follow the sequence of the input screens. All the values and codes are written in clear to allow a better check of the values specified in input.
The Output is now arranged in tables showing the results of the calculations related to:
  • internal pressure (design and test)
  • external pressure
  • wind and hearthquake calculations
  • stability analysis calculations
  • nozzles
  • total weights
  • loading data
In particular, for wind, earthquake and stability analysis formulas and references to the codes have been added to the results.
5.5. The positioning on the vessel of stiffening rings is now calculated by the program and reported in the outputs: on the basis of the maximum allowed stiffening distance calculated for each section, the proper number of rings with the elevations from the bottom Reference Line and the type of ring calculated is shown on a table in the results of the vessel calculation. Rings are also shown on the vessel drawing.
