MT-COMP Revision 2.4.0 (June 2003)
1.The new component "Tubes of Bundle" has been added to the program.
2.The calculation in check has been added to the tubesheet analysis.
3.A warning message has been added to the tubesheet calculation in design mode when the calculated thickness is greater than the minimum value specified by the user.
4.A control has been added to the AD-MERKBLATT calculation of selfreinforcing nozzle over elliptical or torispherical head when the nozzle is located outside the area of 0.6*Da according to section B3.
5.The conversion factor for the moment generated by the wind in erection at the bottom of the skirt has been fixed.
6. The thicknesses of the risers of the split ring have been added in input to the floating head component.
7.A control has been added to the MAWP calculation of the girth flanges according to AD-MERKBLATT to avoid program crash in the pressure calculation loop.
8.The lap diameters for Lap Joint flanges are zeroed in design mode to clear the input fields after a check calculation has be performed.
9.The analysis of tubes to tubesheet welding according to ASME VIII Div. 1 Para. UW-20 has been added to the program. The analysis has been added to the tubesheet component.
10.The conical section in check mode have been revised to add bending radius and neck length or ring area and distance, depending on the cone construction type, witht or without knuckles.

MT-VESS Revision 2.3.0 (June 2003)
1.The net weight of the saddles gussets has been corrected on the B.O.M. of the vessel
2.The nozzles from forging have been added to the B.O.M. of the vessel.
3.The material code of the nozzles has been fixed. It was saved in a wrong way.
4.The input data for wind and earthquake have been fixed. Some problems occurred in the data storing that could cause a wrong saving of the data specified by the user.
5.The input data reprint in the calculation results printout has been fixed. The data shown for input system units different from Metric corresponded to the converted data and not to the specified data.

MT-EXCH Revision 2.4.0 (June 2003)
1.The possibility to check existing exchangers has been added to the program. This feature allows now the user to enter geometrical and constructive dimensions of the exchanger and its components and let the program verify if the imposed values are enough to resist the given conditions of pressure and temperature. Also interferences for welding distances and geometrical incongruencies are checked and the user is alerted when some incongruencies occur.
2.The analysis of tubes to tubesheet welding according to ASME VIII Div. 1 Para. UW-20 has been added to the program.
3.The detail of the saddles base plate, both fixed and sliding, has been added to the second sheet of the exchanger drawing.
4.The possibility of specifying the lining has been extended to all the components of the exchanger, both shell side and tube side. The user can now specify at the same time corrosion and lining, internal and external, on the same component.
5.The calculation of the tubes of the bundle for the internal and external pressure, according to the codes, has been added to the program.
6.The possibility of importing data related to the tubes and the O.T.L. directly from the tubesheet layout calculation (program MT-LAYOUT) has been added to the program.
7.The nozzle management has been totally revised. The following implementations have been provided to the program:
  • Possibility to process radial and inclined nozzles.Nozzles can be inclined in longitudinal and circumferential view.
  • Possibility to specify orientation and offset of the nozzle.
  • The instrument for chemical cleaning has been added to the pressure and temperature instrument.
  • Welding data and welding analysis as per ASME VIII Div.1 para. UG-41, UG-45 and UW-16 have been added to the program.
  • Nozzles with reinforcing pad or selfreinforced can be selected.
  • Corrosion and lining, internal and external, can be specified on the same nozzle.
  • The possibility to force the nozzle material: from plate, from pipe or from forging has been added to the single nozzle.
8.The drawing of the nozzles on the second sheet of the exchanger drawing has been greatly improved to reflect the new possibilities of the nozzles calculation. The nozzle is now drawn in scale on the exchanger silhouette together with the reinforcing pad, if any. This allows a better control on the welding interferences.
9.The analytical pages for wind and earthquake have been added to the output results printout.
10.The net weight of the saddles gussets has been corrected on the B.O.M. of the exchanger.
11.The nozzles from forging have been added to the B.O.M. of the exchanger.
12.The U tubes development based on the real radiuses of the tubes has been added to the B.O.M. When two thicknesses are specified for the tube bundle, two different lines are printed in the B.O.M.
13.Tubesheets with hubs can now be specified in the program. Both the calculation and the geometrical dimensioning of the exchanger have been revised accordingly. Also the drawing has been revised to take into account the new feature.
14.The calculation of the tubesheets with flanged extension has been fixed. Problems could arise in the calculation of the flanged extension when the hydraulic test pressure was the controlling condition.
15.A control and a warning message has been added to the program when no one gasket is specified, in order to avoid program crash.
16.The pipe ANSI DN 10 (3/8") has been added to the database.
17.The thickness of the split ring written on the third sheet of the exchanger drawing has been fixed. The shown value included the riser thickness also.
18.Specific unit code for bolts and nozzles Nominal Diameters have been added to the drawing input of the exchanger. The user can now select between mm and in indipendently from the main units system selected.
19.The drawing detail of the tubesheet cladding, when the cladding thickness is lower than the groove depth has been fixed.
20.The input data for wind and earthquake have been fixed. Some problems occurred in the data storing that could cause a wrong saving of the data specified by the user.

MT-LAYOUT Revision 2.4.0 (June 2003)
1.1. The program has been implemented to allow data transfer to the program MT-EXCH. The data related to the tubes and the OTL can now be imported directly in the program MT-EXCH without the need of retyping the same data.
