The following MT-MECH modules have been revised:
One of the most relevant implementation is related to the possibility to install and run the programs in LAN. Each client connected to the LAN can access to the programs, only limited by the number of licenses available on the network.

MT-COMP Revision 2.5.0 (January 2004)

    4.Floating Head. Is now possible to select a different material for the Split Ring and the Floating Flange.
    5.Audit Report. The compensation for large openings (ASME) is now calculated correctly.
    6.Nozzles. If the nozzle heigth is supplied in input, it wiil be mantained alerting the user if less than the one required by the program.
    7.LAN version. Installing programs on the server, they can be executed frm any PC connected in the LAN.
    8.TEMA Expansion Joint. The calculation has been fixed for avoiding the possibility to calculate a negative number of cycles
    9.TEMA Expansion Joint. Also with more than one wave now the Audit Report reports also the internal element conditions for the Hydraulic test.
    10.Nozzle Table. LWN for DN 15, 20 mm have been included.
    11.Nozzles. The minimum welding distance is now computed taking care of the maximum distance for compensation, as required by Codes.
    12.Formed Heads. The thickness supplied in input is assumed as is without rounding it to the nearest mm.
    13.Bolt Table. The reference name of the table has been corrected in "TEMA Tab. D5" from "ANSI B18.22" as erroneously indicated before.
    14.Nozzles. The formula for "lm" in the VSR/AD-MERKBLATT Audit Reports has been fixed. Now it is congruent with the calculation.
    15.Diagnostic Messages. The messages have been completely revised for a better understanding of them. In most cases also values who generated the message are also printed
    16.Expansion Joint. The calculation of number of cycles is now controlled for avoiding overflow error.
    17.Skirt . The error occurring in verifiyng the bolts of the using the "User" standard has been fixed.
    18.The neck length for Elliptical/Torispherical heads has been added as input datum.
    19.The thickness of the formed heads in check for VSR code has been fixed.
    20.The table VSR.1.E.1 of the coefficients C/Co related to the calculation of formed heads according to ISPESL-VSR has been revised according to Rev. 1995 of the code.
    21.The reduction factors for bolts loads have been added to the calculation of girth flanges according to VSR..
    22.The calculation of the tubes tension and compression according to TEMA has been fixed in case of simultaneous pressures.
    23.A bug in the calculation of conical sections to internal pressure according to AD-MERKBLATT has been fixed.

    • Drawing. Several inconsistencies have been fixed.
    5.The code identifiyng Reinforcing type on Flat Flanged Heads is now appropriate.
    6.Legs (user). The user table for brackets is now handled correctly
    7.Coupled Flanges. The Audit Report generation is now correct also in this case.
    8.Brackets. Some inconsistencies have been avoided allowing to specify in input the brackets elevation (middle span). The choice of the calculation code is now allowed also for brackets.
    9.Audit Report. The page counting has been revised for avoiding some inconsistencies. Problems caused by welding analysis have been fixed.
    10.Audit Report. The compensation for large openings (ASME) is now calculated correcty.
    11.Nozzles. If the nozzle heigth is supplied in input, it wiil be mantained alerting the user if less than the one required by the program.
    12.Nozzles. The abnornal program termination in case of more than 25 nozzles has been fixed.
    13.Legs User Table. The program now searches just in th values supplied by the user.
    14.Legs. The vibration period of vessels on legs is now computed correctly with the reference to the shape used.

    27.Skirt . The error occurring in verifiyng the bolts of the using the "User" standard has been fixed.
    28.LWN Nozzles . The heigth of LWN nozzles is now computed correctly if specified in input..
    29.Skirt . The skirt Audit Report has been corrected for properly handling materials with tensile strength=0 in the base ring calculation.
    30.The neck length for Elliptical/Torispherical heads has been added as input datum.
    31.The rounding thickness for plates has been added to the program. This gives the possibility to round the thicknesses to the nearest American Nominal Size (1/16" = 1.5875 mm).
    32.The thickness of the formed heads in check for VSR code has been fixed.
    33.The table VSR.1.E.1 of the coefficients C/Co related to the calculation of formed heads according to ISPESL-VSR has been revised according to Rev. 1995 of the code.
    34.A bug in the calculation of conical sections to internal pressure according to AD-MERKBLATT has been fixed.
    35.The drawing of the nozzles in the vessel drawing has been totally revised.
    36.The printout of the calculation of the Hydraulic test pressure has been added to the results of the exchanger calculation.
    37.A new screen related to the Bill of Materials has been added to the program for allowing BOM customization and adding data not available from the program.
    38.The required heigth of nozzles pipe in the BOM has been increased to take into account for working losses.
    39.Nozzles bolts and gaskets have been added in the BOM.
    40.The blind flange has been added as separated item in the BOM.

    MT-LAYOUT Revision 2.5.0 (January 2004)
    1.Input File. When importing data from the Neutral File the program control the name of the input file for eliminating "/" and "\" characters.
    2.Diagnostic Messages. A control has been included for avoiding program termination in the case when the number of row in a passage is equal to zero.
    3.Diagnostic Messages. In cases when the diameter of the specified nozzle is greater than (Shell Diameter/1.5) a warning message is issued but the calculation is not stopped as before.
    4.LAN version. Installing programs on the server, they can be executed frm any PC connected in the LAN.
    5.Sealing strips. A warning message is issued when the baffles distances is less than 150 mm
    6.Diagnostic Messages. The messages have been completely revised for a better understanding of them. In most cases also values who generated the message are also printed.
    7.An explication note has been added to the calculation results to clarify that the number of holes shown in the passes does not include tie rods.
