Sono stati aggiornati i seguenti programmi MT-MECH:
Una delle implementazioni pił rilevanti riguarda l'introduzione del Codice Europeo EN13345. Sebbene solo alcune membrature siano state incluse nel solo modulo MT-COMP, gli altri moduli sono stati predisposti per poter agganciare facilmente il nuovo codice non appena completato a livello di membrature. Per la lista completa delle modifiche apportate si rimanda alle tavole sottostanti, ognuna relativa al programma specifico.

  • 2.Material Data Base. A general revision has been done on the material database to comply with the requirements for the calculation of the allowables stresses according to the European code EN 13445.
    3. Materials The tensile strength has been added to the materials quantities that the user can change during the calculation.
    4. ASME ASME Code has been revised to be compliant with ASME VIII Div.1 Addenda 2005.
    5. EN 13445 The European code EN 13445 has been added to the program. The following components are operating at the moment:
  • Formed heads and flat welded heads
  • Cylindrical shell
  • Conical sections
  • Nozzles
  • Girth flanges
    6. Nozzles The calculation of LWN nozzles to external pressure has been fixed. The pipe height needed for the external pressure has been added to the calculation.
    7. Flanges. The calculation of the girth flanges in design mode has been fixed. Sometime, when the hydraulic test was the controlling condition, the bolts number calculated by the program was wrong.
    8. Nozzles The possibility to specify the minimum diameter of the reinforcing pad has been added to the calculation of the nozzles.
    9. Flanges The calculation of girth flanges thickness according to VSR and ASME has been fixed for flanges Loose with hub or Lap Joint with hub.
    10. Tubesheet The logic for the calculation of the tubesheets according to ASME UHX has been revised. The Elastic-Plastic analysis is now always calculated, when necessary, and is no more optional.
    11. Stiffening Rings The stiffening ring archive has been modified. Tables specific for each ring shape have been added. The program has been revised to interface correctly the new archive.
    12. External Pressure The following missing ASME charts for vacuum have been added to to the archive:
  • HA-6 / HA-7 / HA-8
  • NFC-7 / NFC-8
  • NFN-22 / NFN-23 / NFN-24 / NFN-25 / NFN-26
  • 13. External Pressure. The calculation of the cone to external pressure for ASME has been revised to manage stiffening rings between the cone tangent lines.
    14. Heads. The calculation of the parameter K [ASME 1-4(c)] for elliptical heads has been revised to have K=1 for elliptical heads 2:1 (K is calculated always in non corroded conditions).
    15. Heads. The calculation of the skirt thickness of elliptical heads for ASME has been corrected assuming joint efficiency = 1.
    16. Floating Heads. The distance from the border of the floating cover to the edge of the floating flange has been added to the audit report datasheets of the floating head.
    17. Flanges. The hub length calculation of the girth flanges has been fixed assuming a minimum value of 25 mm.
